Any supporter of Barack Obama that states “Barack Obama is my homeboy” knows that one of his ideal initiatives is to end the war in Iraq. It should be of little surprise that this initiative did not crop up in light of the Presidential race, but has been in conceptual phases for four years as he has frequently spoken out against a war he felt was ill conceived. During the last four years, Obama has not been shy to say that he felt the decision to go to Iraq was a grotesque error on the part of the Bush administration. Supporters would agree with anti-war t-shirts being a mainstay in American pop culture today. Obama does caution however the need to be as careful as removing our troops as we were of putting them in Iraq.
